We're moving house soon, and the house we're moving into has ........ a garage! Now its not a huge garage just a standard sixed one, but my rents have said I can ave another car to put in the garage and tinker with. Now as soon as the suxo is sold i'll be buying a Volvo 240 and that'll be my dailydrive/cruise wagon/pimp mobile etc etc, but it ain't ever gunna be that quick. Which leads me onto this its not actually the one pictured but it is the same. A friend of my dad's has one that he's willing to sell for £200. Its a mini based kit car. The one i hope to buy has had all the underpinnings reconditioned and the engine re-built. I thought it'd be an excellent little car to tinker on with and turn into a real beast. What does everyone think P.S Sorry for the essay

Go for it. Boxy seventies(?) plastic kit cars for the win. Give it a full-race Metro Turbo lump or even better, a K series or C20XE *n

I think its 80's. It uses either bluebird or silvia rear lights (don't know which) And it has an escort rs1600i/ series 1 rs turbo rear spoiler. Mini Traveller fuel tank. At the moment it needs an interior. I was thinking buckets and harness's a set of 7x13 revo 4 spokes and a 1380cc screamer of an engine. Hopefully will be ready for CARS.

i say go turbo, but then again i always do that! The 1380 would be fun sometimes, but a biyach at others. The turbo engine is super fun, nice soft engine off boost with good fuel consumption, to animal popping and whistling on boost. Also for wheels how about these RWD offset alleycats? www.theimpclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3658J

I'm not gunna be using it as an every day car its gunna be a high days and holidays car. Also its a car to get some mechanical experience on. I don't have the technical no how to put a turbo engine in whereas I think I coulsd have a go at putting another A+ engine in. As it satnds it should be quite fun it being fibreglass and powered by an mg metro engine
