rather pointless mod but smoothens up the front end, had considered a mesh grill but without fords special aero system too much air enters at speed so the engine never gets up to temperature so cut out the ford badge, cut a few slats from a spare grill and glue in place, will look alot better when its had some filler over the cracks and all been sprayed in the same shade of black, might even reinforce it from behind with some fiberglass as its a bit flimsy.

Looks good, should have a few folks scratching their heads... ;D
|
|
... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

Looks mint. Funny how a relatively cute car can become pretty mean with such a little mod. Gurr!

ive got a set of bonnet pins sitting on the shelf downstairs, i could remove the hinges and have the front end pinned down but will a couple of pins hold it at 70+mph.......seen some nasty pics of a mk2 where the pins failed and the bonnet replaced the windscreen

The debadging looks very smooth and subtle but a big no I'm afraid to the 'bad boy' headlight brows and the bonnet pins - imho they would spoil it as I don't think I've ever seen a 'bad boy' bonnet that looked good.....

Awesome. Looks feckin' evil!
But without the bumper, I'd say fit two more spots, above the number plate.
