...and it's not as if they know/understand what they signify! Probably 'pinch now - think later' type of scum . Could have been nicked and then thrown over a local hedge! it annoys me these Tw4ts that have to 'pinch' things like this off a vehicle only to then sling it over a wall yards down the road. It even happens a some vehicle shows. With the Military vehicle club we sometimes put weapons and equipment on display and the amount of 'Mummys little darlings' that will try and pinch the odd empty bullet case or googles or bit of webbing ...why!

Well how about the guy leaving Xtreme Wheels show in a hot rod Model A that got pelted with bricks by some kids. Smashed windows, damaged doors, etc. etc.
"I'm bored, lets go up to that car show and lob rocks at them as they come out"

Sunday mid afternoon I think. I heard about it off the guy who owns it posts on the NSRA site. I didn't see it myself.

I live in what is considered to be a decent, residential low crime area, I've had my door handles urinated on, somebody took a wibblepoo in the back alley behind our houses the other night, any dust cap of the non-black plastic variety goes walkabout pronto and somebody else decided to do the old run up and over the car trick scratching mine and leaving footprints in the process. Bored kids can be like magpies sometimes...

And what REALLY annoys me as well is if you are victim to some horrible behavour or theft, a lot of people will say, "You've only got yourself to blame for having such items/equipment/accessories on your vehicle" !!!

^ Yeah thats not fair unless you are a prestige or lux-4x4 car owner that parks up un the miggle of a road/car park/double yellas!
custom/retro cars = blood sweat and tear, inc life savings and time.
I'd go Mad if that happened.

I had a similar experience with the yellow bug
It had *just* come back from its last full resto and some little scrotes decided to pelt it with rocks when I was driving through MK ... apparently it was well known to the old bill and the kids mainly went for buses. My car was an exception and "to be expected with how distinctive it is"
Oh, well that's ok then

Once I was driving in Newcastle in my girlfriends Seat Ibiza when some grubby little urchin lobbed a rock or bit of wood or something at the car. Obv I did an emergency stop in the middle of the road and jumped out to run after him. He ran away down the street with me chasing him, and went into the open front door of his house. I ran in after him and as he went into the front room, he ran into a colossal fat woman who was waddling out to see what all the fuss was about. I blinked and when I opened my eyes there were about 8 grubby kids swarming round the fat woman. She asked what was going on so I said the lad lobbed a clemmy at the car, at this she bellowed ‘RIGHT! WHICH ONE WAS IT!!!’ I pointed him out and she proceeded to give him quite an energetic bashing, possibly even a little excessive for the nature of the crime. Anyway, justice was done in that case.

Some kid spat at the windscreen whilst I was going down a road near where I live.
I stopped and chased him in the car....got as far as the park where I got out and caught him.....I went a little OTT and threw him over the railings in to the park....

One reason I keep thinking of maybe buying a modernish stocker. I need something with a stealth factor I dare leave parked in town! Where I used to live I had cars vandalised a bit and even my wife just said "well if you will leave it parked on the street..." So many people just expect and accept a level of minor damage. Also notice how few cars you see on the road in perfect nick any more. Or even just clean ones! Since nobody seems to care about their own car any more its easy to see that they can't really see why we care about ours.
