	cheer's for all the positive comments guys its really given me the boost i needed to to get the enthusiasm to get it done i will be squirreling it away till the cortina is done now so that i can do it properly ready for next seasons shows . i was going to do just a quick tidy up and use it this year but i think it deserves being done properly so its now going to be my 2010 Christmas/winter project . plans for it are to be a deep candy green with a bit of gold pinstriping with an off white roof with a nice bit of gold lace work and silver flake and a nice simple and clean tuck and roll interior . i had also planned on swapping the rover for another v8 that fits in the bay a little better so that rover will be up for grabs Dave (Oldlbus)

	I was not worried what you do with it as long as your keeping it.Thats good.What ever you do, with your workmanship and skills will be great on the car and you saved it from being a pile of rust.

	That paintjob sounds complicated/expensive. Judging by the Cortina thread though, I'm confident you can pull it off and I look forward to seeing progress at the end of the year.

	I have had to put the cortina project on hold for the time being due to lack of funds and the fact the engine still won't run looks to be down to some bad machining work that I had done on the engine meaning it now has no compression on all eight bores anyway had the cortina taken home to live in the garage for a while which has meant there has been some moving around at the workshop and the old FB was rediscovered oh yeah it runs better than ever now as well ;D the rover is still coming out though the way it fits is just plane scary
