A few more updates. The floor frame has had the body mount holes drilled larger for the 10mm bolts it will use when that time comes to maount that body, and I have put the first coat of Hammerite on the subframe (although not on the underside yet). The loops aren't painted because I may still weld some extra metal between them to add tunnel rigidity. Still debating it, though. The rear brake lines are off because I am redoing them, but they should be replaced by next weekend if all goes well.

Wow, loads of work getting done on this now, starting to come on nicely and those repairs look really good. I'm like everyone else wanting to see a trial fit, so massive respect for your superior self control to not do it. If it was mine I'd have it on and off every chance I could get I'm a bit impatient mind!

If it was mine I'd have it on and off every chance I could get I'm a bit impatient mind! Me too. Reason I don't have it on and off the chassis for a trial fit is with that cross bracing it physically can't fit now the new floor frame is on the chassis, and if it did, the cross bracing is lower than the 4 inch channeled floor would be, so it would sit too high up anyway. And the arches need to be radiused to fit around the wheels, so if I put the body on for a trial fit now, it would be more of a case of just laying the body on the chassis. Not ideal really.
