As weather was still dry, went for a blast over to Whitby. No issues to report, just blasting along with the tape player blasting the oldskool out. Great little car, need to make more effort to get it out and used !    Thanks for reading ! |

Absolutely stunning. Was rare in this condition in 2009 when the thread started let alone now!  What do you feel stops you using it? Weather or fear of damaging it? I am precious about the older cars I have, but they are nowhere near as precious as this car is! Perfectly oem |

Its deep in the garage behind 4 cars usually so a bit of a carry on to get out to be fair. Also not keen on leaving it anywhere when using it as it attracts too much attention. Ive used it quite a bit over the last ten years though done 16k in it, and been to europe in it 3 times. Its just been a bit of a garage queen for the last couple of years for no reason apart from time flying by and other stuff on the go. I'm going to try and get it out as much as possible this summer, lazy weekend driving and enjoying it myself. Cant wait ! |

It deserve to be a garage queen!
I mind a few about here when i had my first car, but i didnt have the pockets or the spanner skills to join them. They'll be long gone now given the folk i knew of that owned them.
I get what you mean with the attention, older cars turn lots of heads, i abandon going into my estate sometimes depending what's behind me or about lol

Long time no update. Gtt has been sat in the garage since 2019 as been busy with other projects. Finally got it out, cleaned it up as was looking rather barn find covered in dust. Flew through its mot no issues, and done a few miles in it to check everything was ok and no issues to report. Was nice cruising along with tape player blasting.    |

Updates. Gtt is sold! The time was right, as not used it in 3 years and had no real plans to use it in the future. A few pics of it all cleaned up for the memories.     Bought this ex cup racer suite from 1986 last week from Vinted, cost a few quid but had to have it, and thought it would be nice to have a few pics wearing it next to the car for a nice keepsake. 18 years of Renault5 ownership is over.    Over and out H34BDM its been a blast! |

I completely understand the reasons for selling but equally, you must have been gutted to see it leaving your ownership,
Either way, a beautiful looking car and a credit to the work you did on it,
