Love these motors.
A good friend used to have one years ago, cost him a fair bit to keep as he kept winding the boost up, and it go BOOM LOL

Is the oil gauge oil pressure or oil level? Right there, before the engine is started it displays oil level, with the dipstick symbol lit up. Once it's started it swaps over and displays pressure (if memory serves me right). --Phil

That's a beauty... and such a rarity. So many of them have been 'individualised' that it makes yours the individual one! I'm jealousamundo!

It's really nice to see a good one, and i think it's better that you want to keep it standard. ;D
Mainly as everyone has said already there's just so many modified one's around than standard ones!! Good luck with it, an hope to read more about this car!!

Long time no update eh... Took it to Lemans 24hr & back this year, 1300 miles without missing a beat. got roughly 35mpg with mixed driving, had a fair bit of boot down action on those french highways Have just had drivers side arch/sideskirt painted as the laquer had faults, also got the dent took out the bonnet. Have fitted a standard set of wheels for the clean o.e look.

Beautiful. They do look good low, but it's so nice to see one running the stock look! Maximum marks to you.

Fantastic !
Nice to see one of these which hasn't been visually abused...I'd keep it how it is. I did prefer the 1st set of wheels you had though, and could maybe do with a touch of lowering ?

Cheers all! Put a lot of hours into this to get it looking fresh again. Keeping the suspension standard, drives really nice as is

I always thought these were great looking cars in standard trim and looked horrible with all the Max Power era bodykits stuck on them. Great to see a clean stocker.
