yes, indeed, another hillclimb topic, but a different one this time! Every year, just over the border from the Netherlands, there's a big event going on in a small Belgian town, Teuven. Part of that event is a hillclimb, a real amateurlike event, but some rather nice cars attend every year! have some pics: absofuckinglutely gorgeous car, more about this later: and off you go and now, because it deserves it, a special set of pics from the Goggomobil. It's a Goggo, but has the complete underpinnings of an NSU TT, that's why it has such huge wide fenders, the stock goggo's are quite narrow! he has a fully tuned engine under the (rather small) bonnet, 124 bhp and with the special built 6 speed gearbox capable of speeds way above 200 km/h. With the special, short ratio box he used on the climb it hit the limiter in top gear at 130 km/h though! ;D He went an impressive 5 seconds quicker then the black BMW 2002 you all will recognize from RRG'09! Goggo did it in 1.06, the beemer in 1.11 (still very good), fastest time was a Donkervoort with 57seconds. Also brought my Gorillapod with me, which I also took with me at the Gathering and placed it on the 2002, giving me these 2 movies (click pic for vimeo link): more vids: Goggo: Lola T70 Spyder: and again: Flying dutchman doing a quick start!: Austin Healey (what a sound!): all my pics can be found here: hachi.uwhost4.net/teuven/
