Cheers for that - I like.... Maybe less poke? Imps are et15, whereas Arrows tend to be et35, so I's hope they would sit nicely un the arch (with 185/35/17s to make them the same overall as 185/60/13s)

Needs to be done! I like the idea of going for wheels 4" bigger than everybody else runs. Matt

no please no! Please don't! I think retro's look shocking with modern alloys. An example: Leave the arrows for an e30! Buy an e30 instead of a imp

Found this recently which IMO works quite well, 1955 Chevy Pick up with 20" Mercedes G Wagen wheels. from here

Imp with momo arrows. Could work but would need propper slammage to pull it off imo I rarely like modern wheels on a classic car but every now and again someone hits the nail on the head and creates a stunner. That Imp,those wheels = major win.

putting the aesthetics aside, i think gonna be an issue fitting 17's to look like that p-chop. it'll look like a donk

Hmmm... some of these work, some of these truely look pish. That Roller in the top shot looks really shonky IMO. Like po-white-trash won the lottery.

Something like mine? Wheels are a lot newer than the car, and a bit bigger than most people have on their kadett. (i have 15" most have 13")

With a huge drop it'd work.
Tucking wheels that are 3" bigger than everyone else's is the way forward
