I think the fact is you need to buy wheels that compliment the car, not just wheels that you like and hope they work. The manta on the previous page looks cack (IMO) but that's largely because those wheels would look pretty revolting on anything. A set of 17" OZ superleggras or hockenheims though could work quite nicely, as would a multitude of other modern rims ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

How old? We pimped this 68 Cadillac about 4 years ago. Chopped the coils and added some 20's ![](http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i3/motoramamovie/68%20Cadillac%20Convertible/051120071250.jpg) ![](http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i3/motoramamovie/68%20Cadillac%20Convertible/051120071263.jpg)

Something like mine? Wheels are a lot newer than the car, and a bit bigger than most people have on their kadett. (i have 15" most have 13") ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/fredje8v/17082009001.jpg) This pic has always ticked a lot of boxes for me ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v415/steb/GT29.jpg) Mk1 Polo on BBS RXIIs BOTH FULL OF WIN IMO ;D nice bit of tuck fredje8v

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Here is my contribution. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v215/427/792851_53_full.jpg) This is the current trend in Oz. Big diameter, big dish rims on cars sitting as low as possible. Done right it looks more than tasty. I like how we are always years behind the yanks down here!

That Corvette is so amazing it deserves it's own thread! ![](http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh26/yancyjohns/Awesome%20Cars/roadstershop62corvette.jpg) ![](http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_4-xNXQYB4JE/SoyDq3FancI/AAAAAAAAA78/Pb1Oyd3oDbA/s400/Picture_1.jpg) ![](http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_4-xNXQYB4JE/SoyDo3uWzaI/AAAAAAAAA7c/qeiFnGajy6o/s400/Picture_3.jpg) ________________________________________________________________ & my main car ![](http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/2/3208/4541/20519770037_large.jpg) ![](http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/2/3208/4541/20519770096_large.jpg) '89 Honda Integra wheels & newer 2nd hand aftermarket alloys on my 1979 Accord. Still needs lowering (since Honda moved the front wheel-arches up for '79 !!??!!). Took a while longer to get used to the "open" design where I thought the Integra wheels spot-on but too subtle/conservative. & I couldn't stand the wheels centre covers in both cases. & I revised the brakes & stud-pattern all around to enable wheel choices. An inch bigger might be nice, these are already 1 up on standard, but wouldn't want to go overboard. Shows off my new rear discs - is there anything more sad than oversize "open" wheels showing off tiny drum brakes. (unless you have them inboard for freaky coolness)
