Iv just finished studying for my degree in Automotive Design at Coventry uni, and have been selling bespoke car illustrations for over a year now. I'm currently searching for a job so i thought i might start doing these again to keep me busy. The illustrations are usualy of the customers car, but i also do iconic cars or dream cars such as lamborghinis and jaguars. I'm a big car fan and would love the opportunity to do some older cars with some character, so thought i'd post on here (i have been lurking for months now but own an e36 which is far from retro!) Each illustration takes me a good day or two, and is created entirely on photoshop from a good reference photo. I charge £40 plus £5 printing and postage costs and i send out two A3 (30cmx42cm) rolled prints of the final image. Here are some examples of my past commisions to give you an idea of what i do - If anyones interested let me know!

Class images! Just a thought though, you should put a SAMPLE thing or something in it to stop people copying your design (I'd be tempted myself if I knew how or was doing cars for art or something)

Hey! I'm starting Automotive Design at Cov in September. You're about a billion times better than me though - I finished my a-levels three years ago and didn't pick up a pencil until Coventry sent me a letter in April saying I had a portfolio review due very shortly - I got in so I must have done something right hehe
How would you sum up the course (you too RetroMat) ? PM me if you don't want to hijack the thread

That really is stunning work! You've got some real talent there for sure. Will you still come on and talk to us when you're famous?

Best illustrations I've seen, £40 + printing is an utter bargain for that talent.

They are stunning, the BMW looks the best. Do you do a 3D model render, and then build up layers on top?

I'm amazed u can turn those round in a day or 2, i do some cartoons on GIMP and they take me ages and don't come out half as good as these.
