How about some good old-fashioned redneck policing? Like HTW & rmad sitting near the gate in a couple of rocking chairs, whittling away on a carb jet, with a couple of twelve-bores within arms' length? there's an idea. Doireman and I can sit nearby practicing "duelling banjos" and we can get a mask and chainsaw from somewhere for oldbus, I'm sure.

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

When I first read the HT lead idea, I did think yeah, that would work... rig up a 12v cattle prod to enforce the rules with ;D then I noticed you meant just remove them to prevent cars being driven. My bad LOL! I think just trust people.

just enforce a no driving after dark 9pm or under emergency or else you will be tied to a 500 sec and escorted from the premises

Has a time been decided yet? 10pm? Need to know what time my saff will turn into a pumpkin to get back from Racenight ;D LOL ;D Keefy mentioned 10:00PM in another thread.... ...here you go 1. You can arrive from 3pm. Any earlier and the gate to the campsite will be closed. The campsite will close at 10pm, and there will there is to be NO CARS MOVING OR ENGINES RUNNING after this time. 2. Just rock on up and find somewhere to park. 3. No, the campsite needs to be vacated Sunday evening. We may be able to make an exception for a few, but David and I need to clean up and our agreement with Haynes is that the campfield is vacated Sun eve. 4. You will have a wristband to enter and leave the campsite at your free will. Just be back before 10pm - see point 1. 5. I forget exact numbers, but I think its just 2 or 3 showers. 6. No. Its in Somerset. There is nothing there, all goods are even still transported around on horse and cart! ;D Yeah, there are plently of local supplies, and a petrol station right around the corner that even has a dirty 'donalds.

yeah, 10pm will be the time.
I find it f*cking hilarious that people say "a flyer and a sign will stop people doing it" ..... Its ridiculous that people need to be told that driving around when beered up/others are beered up is a bad idea. Still, thats what we figured too, hence the signs and flyers have been well and truely thought of.
I'm hoping the campsite will pretty much police itself. Look after one another, point out to people when they are stepping out of line etc. We all want to have a good time, right, - we just don't want to injure someone else in the process.
There is a very high chance i wont sleep during the weekend. After the past two years i've been left feeling like i have to be awake and everywhere at all times.
I'd also like everyone to bring a fire extinguisher. Driving an old car, you should have one anyway! But tents go up in seconds, and although we will have a fire point its much quicker if the person next to them has a fire extinguisher in his car to put it out!!

Yar, fire extinguishers always a good idea, and once again i post my pic to scare you, freshly built after a years collecting parts, then a good 8 months work and gone after 2 less than two months on the road, fire extinguisher in it would have saved it.

Got one for you - A mate and I are building yet another comedy bike, only this one has the frame from an old folding shopper and the back half of a cheapie ebay pocket bike - It'll be no faster than a pedal bike. Will there be an issue with us riding it around a bit? Obviously not while tanked up or causing a row late at night, and we aren't exactly going to tear the grass up with it, lol.
