Ok, good point. BUT the car doesn't get all huffy when I go pick up another car and drive that for a while mine does all the above really, different to every other one else, no pennies, i like the recycling thing and getting right up the governments nose also said above I really like the looking back, smiling and to say thanks for getting this far today

There's nothing in this world that can compare to the satisfaction you get when you leave a modern "sports" car for dead in a 30-40 year old car that you build in your shed. THAT ^^^^ is another good reason esp when you still have the original 1300L badges on your descreet, steel wheeled but lowered mk1 escort ;D

My car isn't retro in the conventional sense but it is old and worthless (1996 Toyota 'Rolla) I drive it because I swapped 20 regal for it and despite kicking its ass for 2 years its never needed any work and if it ever did break down I could lift my jacket and abandon it where it stopped! LOL

I love the feeling of control when you're driving without the aid of all these wondrous power steerings and ESP and ABS and all that. And of course, everything that everyone else mentioned previously ;D
