One photo per car The LC in Umbria (Italy) Why? Because we left Norfolk at 10pm caught the ferry at dover at 1am and was in Milan by late afternoon........... It's the only thing it does brilliantly - eat miles and seat four in comfort and cruise at anything between 70 and 170 The Monza (not not the picture you expect - same day mind ;D) Why? Because it was a great day/weekend and it had started really badly and I was late arriving so to get some track time was frapping fantastic - to come first in class and 4th overall was even better The Rally Monza Why? cos it's had such a hard life and it won;t look like this for much longer

This is my car doing what I bought it for. Camping with friends after providing shelter for my drunken over night. Dented to poop, but still looking damn fine

Some awesome replies, pics and stories here guys, I am kinda shocked, surprised and pleased the thread has taken off like this. Just shows, we are much more alike than we realise. Speaking of which..... HOW COULD I FORGET ?? New baby to Grizz-Towers. Cos its loveable, and because it makes a special woman in my life smile like a mad-woman. When Oldbus and I went to fetch it she texted me: " I am so excited I feel sick" Now there is a good reason to have one of these.

Just one recent pic I love this, it was my first time at the ACE and it was for the RR awards. I worked till 7am - 1pm, quick pit stop at home then charged down the motorway to arrive for about 5.30. A sandwich, brew, lots of introductions and 370+ motorway miles. Back home for 1am-ish. Good times

In that case.... Mk1 Metro Because every time I look at it, it makes me smile and EVERYONE looks at me when I drive past. Mk2 Metro Turbo because this car is so shonky it made the wheels fall off the trailer and made the car spit its oil everywhere even before we picked it up! ;D Rover 100 with a 1.8 MG F engine just for the look on the saxo drivers face when a rover 100 loaded with 4 people, all our camping stuff for 2 weeks and unicycles on the back spanked him on the A5 on the way to Wales ;D Edd

some FANTASTIC pics in this thread for me, my own 'ride' pic would have to be of the truck - just after picking it up ^^ - driven all night from north wales to portsmouth, picked it up, and blew the gearbox within 20 miles! - blazing hot day, just got the digital radio out of the cab, and lay out on the motorway embankment till the AA arrived - that shot was taken by the girl from the motorway shop while the AA wagon winched me on! and to sum up why we curse word about with old cars: ^^ after an 8 hour drive to somerset, me, doug and ritchy, my long suffering car club mates, with the sorry remains of a 61 studebaker we bought for bits for doug's 55 wagon - a round trip of 14 hours in a borrowed truck, talking about cars, pisstaking and avoiding the coppers! - big smiles all round - it even fired up back home too!!

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Because there are times when you shouldn´t worry too much about what you still need to get done and step back and think about what you´ve already achieved! ...and because without friends our hobby wouldn´t be half as much fun!! ;D
