There it is ( the gold one ) I particularly like this pic, as the other two mk1's were owned by lifelong friends, I had a part in finding those cars for them, and owned ALL of them at one point ( still own two of them haha ) Good times

Because I couldn't bear to see it looking like no one cared anymore: Hadn't had anytime yet to get it running with fixing up my house but I saved it and one day it will run again.

This sums up why I have the car I have. This is my mate Neil (Ash), jumping a monkey bike over a very rare 60s 2cv bonnet, which is on fire. While being dressed head to toe in safety conscious hi-vis clothing. It was taken at a meeting of about 3000 2cvs in Dunkirk, last year. If I had to pick one, that's it. I'f I'm allowed more, I'll go for these: This is Ash again, this time drinking from a toilet suspensed upon the back of his 2cv. Ash (again!) riding dirty on that uber rare 60s bonnet. squirting the French. Good times. Dicking about on the public highway.. Our schoolboy sense of humour... The good times... and the bad...

...more diffcult than I first thought...it always depends on the day, the position of the sun past the yard arm and the people I'm with but this one is how I often feel about working on my car. It's all in there somewhere but god knows when I'll ever find a use for it ;D ...because even when the mojo's there, there's always something else in the way ...and lastly, because there's not just us who spend so much time in them we seem to take up residence... morgs

They make me swear 364 days a year but it all becomes worth it on that one day when the road is smooth and empty, the sun is out and the grin stretches from B pillar to B pillar.

Had a choice of two for the Oxford. Picked this one. Just because. This'll do for the Herald, smiling Wifey at the helm. Photo by BrianD?Speedman? Not B&D obvoiusly For the Minx, this one somehow sums up the "doing daft things with an old car" way I've treated it, even though it was only like this for about 20 minutes. And this perfectly sums up the other one.
