	Towed back today, with dad at wheel. And... here you go! Absolutely in some surreal world at the moment, I actually have a Galant! Very VERY pleased! In really good condition too. Most of bodywork is solid, interior is immaculate! That's a proper view of a dashboard!!! White box at the back is the fuel injectors I think. Surface rust only in the boot! Only bit of welding that needs doing for the MOT is this rear arch! That's moving right back to where it belongs... on the wing! Thoughts? 8) Thanks to all involved for finding/persuasion/abuse/suggestions. On the look out for some Hayashi Streets and a 2.6l turbo Starion engine now (or at least when I get back from the states in a few weeks time!) 8)

	Loving the car mate....Your intended mods are spot on. Just suprised that they are leaf sprung at the rear? Hmm, could you convert it to rear coilovers? What are the turrets like? just a thought...hehehe

	Girlfriend of a local car builder/customiser used to have one of those in silver back in the early 80s, lovely car. My Mum had a 76 4 door Galant 1600...............until I wrote it off!

	Very cool car. Have never seen one because mitsus were'nt introduced until 1982 in Sweden... I love the interior.

	Very nice! I say that on eBay a week or so ago. I'd be surprised if the fuel injectors are in the boot though.

	Fantastic car. It must be great finding a car you have always wanted, I just hope I get lucky one day and find a colt turbo. I'm sure that there was a badly rotting silver galant gto spotted in someones garden and pictures were put up on here of it a few years ago, But I cant find the thread, It would have been very useful as parts.

	what are those white boxes in the boot,deffo not injectors though as the car looks like its on carbs. why did the capri not loose a few more sales to stuff like sss datsuns and these?

	one white box is the fuel pump, not sure on the other. basically cos of the price. nont sure on exact numbers but the galants were about 1100 squid, whereas the capri's came in at 700... And thanks guys! Soooo looking forward to getting started on this
