Hello everyone, I am Andrew, came across this forum from hotwire's sig on ausrotary. I am nearly 18 and I live in NSW, Australia. I own a 1975 Toyota KE30 Corolla. The casic plan is a complete ground up custom rebuild, with 12A BP with twin sidedraught webers etc.
Site seems great, you should be seeing me on here a fair bit now.
Cheers, Peachey

No pics at the moment sorry, just gotta get a new digital camera. I will post some up then even though its completely stock, a little beat up and rusty at the moment. Except for some globe wheels.
I will be posting the entire build online in a blog style diary on a local forum. I will put the link up in a couple of weeks when I get it together properly.
Thanks for the comments, Peachey

Its actually this shape: Bad photo but you get the idea. Yeah the motor should be pretty good. Got the webbers about a week ago. I'm not sure if you's know much about the aussie rotary scene, but they were from the prominent Tony Khoury RX3, and built by Dave Broadhurst. The car was in a huge crash inwhich it split the car in half, and I managed to get the whole setup with manifold undamaged and unused since. Are there many Australians on here? Peachey

hi there, welcome to the board! That ounds like a good project, i love rotary engines the brap brap brap of a bridge port makes me go weak at the knees! do you have any piccys of the engine? I spent a little time in Oz earlier this year and there were a lot of rotaries around, we even saw a mazfix or mazspeed RX3 on the motorway coming out of sydney, sounded mental! I saw this one just coming out hervey bay 13b turbo heres a video takes a second to download media.putfile.com/P1030380Cheers J

Hello mate welcome along.
Looking forward to seeing your pics. I used to peruse Hot fours and wild rotarys a few years ago there were some really impressive cars in that. People seemed to be doing the sort of cars there that people are doing in the UK now. ;D

Has anyone on here ever read zoom magazine? It really is a fantastic magazine, with some really cool cars, the slogan is all go no show!

Thanks for the welcome fellas.
blownimp: Thats a very impressive RX808 there. Nice to see examples like that still getting around, most have RX3 nose cones, taillights etc. these days here in aus.
PheonixC: I often feel like it is us thats totally behind everyone. I see videos and pictures from around the world and it seems like we're lightspeeds behind. Different countries just seem to be more developed in different areas I guess.
Regarding the engine: I haven't actually got the engine, I am still waiting for that, I was just referring to the weber setup, it might not seem like a big deal, but this is a setup you just can't get these days, if anyone is familiar with the IPRA racing series here in Australia and the unbeleivable power levels they are getting from the bridgies, this is the same as what they use and is highly sort after by the N/A rotary guys here in Aus. Once this is tuned properly (gonna be a bit of a mission) this will easily out do any downdraight weber setup and should be able to compete with most street level 13BT's.
Blownimp: Zoom is a great mag, I have been getting it for several years and its a wealth of information. As their slogans states, it really is the only magazine here that puts go before show. Its really one of the only magazines here with any decent old schoolers, Fast Fours has a couple each issue, unless your into V8's and Street Machine is an awesome magazine for that.
Cheers, Peachey

Kinda but no. I will try find some pictures of my one. Basically it is the same concept but its also twin webers. These will be run on a 12A BP with primaries (top) 42mm secondaries 45mm which is perfect for the BP.
Cheers, Peachey

Here is a picture of them, doesn't do them much justice, they have been cleaned up, and will be rebuilt soon. Thats just to give you a bit of an idea of what they are. Peachey
