the yellow plug is the tv plug indeed. Did you try to plug them into a SCART connector and then in the SCART plug in the TV?

i have the same plugs in the front of my tv, they're even colour coded! so i plugged them in there, tried the ext 1, 2 & 3 thing and retuned the tv but couldnt find anything.
is it a scart job then? as i think i have a connector somewhere to do that.

I don't know, it shouldn't matter, but you never know.

I thought these just connected to the TV via an aerial lead?

Had one of these as a kid, connects to your tv's aerial port.

most of these old computers with rf tv output can be modified to output composite video I think the Atari can already output it on one of the big monitor din plugs.
have to look up some Atari websites. or maybe Gamesx.com
I have a few old computers. I used to have old wooden boxed tvs. I have an Amstrad CPC monitor with TV tuner box. Was no problem connecting old computers to them. But my new Phillips TV cant tune to my Play station or Sega master system. Neither can my portable tv.

If you can get hold of a black and white Atari Monitor it connects to a deicated socket and has a higher resolution. Great for documents. The TV is much lower res and connects using a coax cable from Atari to TV the aerial socket

i actaully had the black and white high res monitor but gave it back to the guy. he emailed me after he gave it to me for £5 saying he made a mistake and was abit hasty selling for £5! so i gave him back the monitor as i figured it will go in the tv ok. the monitor was only like 10" and it only uses about 8-9" of that (sucked abit imo - going from a 20" mac to a b/w 10" wasnt too impressive!).
ill be using it for cubase mostly - will the tv be ok for that?

You can output VGA (so any standard PC monitor, most LCD TVs, etc) from the monitor port with the correct cable. You could probably get one on eBay or something.
