You'd perhaps prefer them on a Taunus?
It all depends on whether the Scrote was built when Ford UK and Ford Germany were still divided...Instead of the shift of power to Ford UK.

serious? flip me thats awesome then need more info on that one. There's a lot more to it that that... It's basically a TVR Chimera underneath with heavily modified Mk1 Golf bodywork... The whole thing is a lot wider than a standard Mk1 Golf - loads of metalwork gone into the roof and stuff... Awesome!

Hold on, wasn't that Mk1 Golf V8 posted here some time ago, unfinished? I seem to recall a widened body in beige, with a meaty V8 under the lid... is it the same one? Oh, and I'm disturbed by how much I like that TT too! ;D

yeah, if you look on the v8 mk1, see that little cutout of the windscreen? in there sits a holley 4 barrel carb!, the car was my personal car of the show. to hear the noise it made was something else. pure alloy seats would mean it isnt going to be the most 'comfortable' ride, but when you have 8 of tvr's finest under the bonnet, who cares?!

Saw your car there Latham, stood out amongst the sea of VeeDubs in a good way was the best show i've been to in a very long time, so relaxed and the quality of cars was amazing. The three cars of the show for me were the following. ll three were totally diffrent styles but but all worked so well.

I went up early Saturday evening and returned again for the majority of Sunday - seemed to be a nice relaxed show with a very large quantity of very cool high quality cars - think you need to camp over with some mates to get the most out of the weekend though. Heres some of my pictures... VWdan's Mk1 Jetta Rabbit (US) Derv Caddy Air-ride MK3 Golf I often get the impression at many VW events that people are trying to 'out-cool' each other - initially this seemed the case at E38 - until i'd spoke to a good cross section of the people there
