my car is styled in a european way, it looks euro, and it will look even more so once i get it on the deck. hence the german plates. they sold escorts in germany, and i want my car to look german. problem? sorry, but your not the first person who has mentioned it, so sorry to snap ;D ;D ;D Not got a problem at all...I was just enquiring, to work out the reason...makes a change from them being on VWs...and even if i did have a problem with it, it's not upto me, it's your car, so i wouldn't dislike you for that.

These look suspiciously like Mk1 Granada rims I see what you're saying... I take it you mean these sort: Which if i recall correctly were actually just trims. What's on that Polo are Dunlop alloys, as fitted to various Triumphs, Scimitars and other brit stuff in the 70's. Interesting application, all the same. Presumably some work has gone into making them fit!

Ah! I knew I had seen them somewhere before, just reminded me of the Granada rims. IIRC the Scimitar's PCD is 4 x 4.5" so there must have been a fair bit of effort required to get them to fit with questionable results, of course that's just my opinion

Yeah, it was a pretty good show, but I was feeling rough from the night before at VW Action Car made the 450 mile round trip to both shows with no problems (thankfully) although my back and neck are killing me from bobbing along all the time - i've been walking around like a nodding dog ;D

the belgians do it so much better! Great show as usual, bit too cramped tho considering the size of the venue. Cracking turn out too, the quality of most of the cars was amazingly high, with some in a complete league of their own. Dan: I saw you tootling out on saturday evening, couldnt find your car on either day tho

Dan: I saw you tootling out on saturday evening, couldnt find your car on either day tho You should have come over and said hi I went up on Saturday evening to see what was going on (parked up just behind the beer tent then) And returned on Sunday and parked up with the Porka.net boys (even though I rarely post on their site ) Unfortunately their spot was right down the bottom near the entrance - so most people after wondering round the high quality showcars near the stage couldn't be bothered to look around a few mildly modded Polos in the corner Did you take your Polo? I didn't see it there Edit; Nice to see your Escort mixing it in amongst that sea of MK2 Golfs - its nice owning something thats different but is still appreciated - I left a copy of Classic Ford on my parcel shelf whist at E38 ;D
