I spotted this completely randomly. Open this Google StreetviewRight in the middle of the picture, slightly to the right of the person standing on the corner is a car on a drive. If you move the view up the road a bit using the arrows and spin round so you're facing the house you'll see it's a guy matt-blacking a Jag XJS with rattle cans. He probably isn't doing that at all. ;D

Click the arrow to go up the road twice then pan the picture round so you're facing the house with the masked up XJS on the drive.
Google Streetmap is pretty fail in some respects.
Look up Brownlow Rd, London N11 on Google Streetmap, then follow the directions. Maybe that will work.

About 2 houses north on the other side of the road is a red 924/944 at the side of the road. And if you go a couple of clicks the otherway from the link in the OP, you'll find a red ,late-ish aircooled 911 half covered in a front garden Top spoting with the XJS - anyone we know

On a similar note...I thought I'd do a bit of GSS (Google Street Spotting) from a random location. I typed in a town name and looked about. Two clicks up from my 'landing point' and I got a double. Triumph 2500 under cover and a Carlton wagon.

Am I the only one who finds this Google View stuff creepy? Yeah, I know you're visible from the public street, no privacy. But I doubt anybody expects the "world" to be viewing them in the front driveway. It's but a few satellites and bandwidth and we can have this "information advance" in real time, 24/7, every day, instead of updated every couple years. Thanks (?), Google.

It's definitely unnerving. That said, I just found an awesome street bank/hip in Yokohama for BMXers. ;D ...and this shot of my Cressy isn't bad. Seriously, whilst I hate to admit it it's uses might just outweigh it's negative points. Anyone can drive down my road at anytime and see the same stuff. Google is a snapshot in time, I think the actual invasion of privacy is less than it appears.

Yea, that was my opinion too - millions of people walk the roads every day and probably pay more attention to what's going on in your windows than someone looking for directions to a friend's house on Google. The number of people who will casually browse a picture of your house, likewise, is probably going to be very small. It's not a malicious tool And stop worrying about it
