Cheers Chops ! Hard gettiing motivated as there are lots of repairs to do like this and some will be easier to do with the car on a spit, but i will need to remove the engine and box and i don't want to do that till ive had it runnung again so i am doing the repairs that are accessible from the top first. First a small hidden section was replaced Then made a piece for the outer chassis section and welded in where i could

The chassis repair welded up OK, still got to make a strong bump stop bracket but will do that when its upside down later. spent today making panels for the o/s boot floor and lower rear wing They would have cost about £300 from Expressed steel panels

I'm very impressed by the quality of work you are putting into this. The only way to go about a resto of something you love: thorough. Gives me something to strive for, although I'm not yet at the level where my repairs look this close to the original metal.
