Out of curiosity I just weighed the units Unbelievable but the little cortina calipers are the heaviest at 4.4kg then the giant Alfa ones at 4.3kg and the Porsche ones are only 3.5kg

hey alan are them disc going to be ok,just that the mounting holes don't quite look like they line up with them lovely discs, and that nice big fuel tank will do you a wright treat, did you find out what it came out off as it looks like a vauxhall/gm tank they fitted to a late camero, but anyway it looks fab and will do the job. keep up the good work MATE.

Been driving and messing about with the Anglia so not much progress on the Cortna till this week Still not made the alli calliper brackets, I did cut them to shape then started drilling them out till a bit broke off, now i have to get them done in a machine shop properly Made a cardboard template, bought a sheet on zintec and took both to a man who makes ductwork to produce a pair of wheel tubs. came out quite good ;D Will have to offer them up and trim them to fit to the inside of the wing

Trimmed a bit here and there till the tub fitted inside the wing. The old shock mount has to go eventually, but at the moment its tying bits together Still loads to trim off yet when i get the chance and its not to late in the evening
