Well, As posted in the other thread...
After a day of fuckups and a fail of epic proportions on the Polo as I headed out, I ended up blagging my dads new Mondeo for the 400 mile round trip, turning up at Nev-o-clock (half way through the awards), chatting, eating a burger and heading home again after only staying for an hour and a bit.
Awesome-O. Well worth it.
Oh, and i did get another 'Dugong in action' shot, but ill post that when I'm not about to fall asleep on the keyboard.

I also got dugong in microtography mode! ;D Awsomes night worth 390 miles or so.  mega thanks to Twigzy for fetching us down in the outlawed Laguna. Dugong scared the curse word outta me on the way home 'having a go' on country roads  had a hoot gang:D Big thanks to Retro Rides staff and the people. Hope Mk14dr got home ok. Northern massive! A great night out, thanks to everyone for coming. I'm still grinning after the late night M25 antics despite the fact that my car decided to break more of itself in one night than in the whole time I've owned it...one headlight, one brake light, one loose fanbelt and a very dodgy sounding engine rattle. When I was cruising with seven other cars running the Boso exhaust seemed like fun, but after everyone turned off and I was left on my own it just seemed plain silly ;D.  It was great to see Simonc's SAAB out.  Thought process: 'What's that......a slammed Acclaim.....Revolution RFXs....must be....Slater!' . Adam does it again - wheels, drop, done. Nice. I barely took any photos, but those I did take are here. Once again, thank to everyone who made the effort...you all contributed to another awesome RR experience. |

I have no excuse- i am thick. i made a total date cock up- and i have only just realised this morning on my 'half day' at work. I must get a hang of this whole dates equal days thing.
It looks like it was a great night too. F--k it. And here I was at 7 this morning getting RX3 out of its cave all ready for tonight.

I too totally fekked it up with the dates and have now cancelled the tickets to London for next Tuesday........  What a wazzak Apologies - would've loved to have been there, sorry I missed it. List of winners etc...... eagerly anticipated. John |
