well, think i answered my own question today..took one off to clean it up ready for a tidy up.. and this is what i found.. so I'm thinking they are rs wantanabe rims.. Defoe 3peace rims.. with loads off offset.. just the wrong way.. but its also got wheel spacers on it to compensate for this.. so the more i look at the van, that was free!! is turning out to be a right bargain ;D

ohh dear!! took the front nearside rim off to day to clean up ready for some paint and the new rubber.. was told that it had a bit off a ding in it,and could see a small flat spot on the outer lip.. but nothing to bad...tyre was going flat over time, was thinking that it was the valve leaking.. but! when t took the tyre off found this it a very small crack!! so think this might have been why tyre was going flat?? looks like it been welded up once before.. and had abit off reshaping with a BFH!! as there is some making to it... so what now? What do i do?? the rim is weldable as,like I say looks like its been done before. and the rims are made in 3 peace's...the 2 rim bits welded together.. so as I say should be able to tig it up.. but the question I want to ask is.. 1 do I see if I can get some one to tig it up?but run the risk off it going all petetong!!! and ending up with a scrap rim, and never being able to find a replacement. so the set of 4 will be scrap! or! 2 JB weld it ,stick the tyre on it and hope it don't get any bigger?? looks like it been like it for some time.. so might be ok?? come on people tell me what you would do...TRUTHFULLY ;D

at long last,i have had the time(and weather!) to be able to get something done on the van ;D lower part of rear door wasn't to good. so cut out all the root.made up some rear repair panels.. welded it all up skim of filler, primed up and looking better got a wheel arch repair panel. £22 from motor factor only panels they do for a hiace!! cut out the bad bits.. and as you can see there was rather alot!! had to make up some bit for the inner acrh aswell.. arch fitted ready for skim off fiber glass, before the filler. and then drop off filler. will finish this off morrow. then moved on to the worst bit!! the driver side cill.. the hole lower part of the outer cill had rotted away from the from the inner part.. so the only easy way i could see to repair the inner, was to cut the outer cill off..so i did! front end needs abit off work to remake the arch.. made up new inner lower cill and then made up an angle peace to repair the outer cill (no photos off these as camera was flat at this point!!) drill some hole in the lower lip so i could spot weld it on and and a return lip on the bottom so i could dress it over the inner cill. and jobs a good un.. last thing i did before tea was a little fiber glass over the welds will finish this off in the morning and tidy it all up, prime it and move on to the next bit.. but as i say at last i make head way with it!!
