If anyone spied the mini in that OSCA video that Seth posted. It runs a Mazda rotary mated to a Toyota Corona gearbox, driven through the front wheels. It is quite possibly one of the most entertaining cars to watch race.

THUNDERSALOON! That's the search term I was trying to think of... I was hoping to find Sierra silhouettes. Nice one Seth! It's interesting to see how much influence these cars have had on the Garuchan / Boso scene.

I went in search for more info on that stunning Alfa 164. Apparently it was built by Alfa Romeo along with Brabham, as a prototype for a proposed (by Bernie Ecclestone) ProCar race series that never materialised. It has an F1 V10 engine, mid mounted. Here are some more pics... Oh my... Sexual. Here's a video, just for those who haven't quite hit the vinegar stroke yet... uk.youtube.com/watch?v=p36U-ReVQO4

What's the strict definition of a Silhouette Racer? Is is simply a space-framed racer, or is there not so much a definition as such, and it's more a style?
