Diamond Mike, purveyor of fine rims to the RR fraternity since 2005 ;D That's the 125% truth Mike - can't wait to get my hands on those tasty rims. Just the thought of getting them is what inspired me to spend the last few days driving around the country sourcing parts for the suspension work today. Can't wait! Talking of 'Purveyor of fine rims for the RR fraternity' I think that can work both ways in our case? ;D ;D See you Thurs Dude.

Having to remember not to fit them and the lift kit while it's in my garage, or it won't come out! ;D

Thats looking cool mate!! Looking forward to the new rimmage!! Heres some more J minivan love.............. Thanks Dude, That first pic has been my inspiration since I got the van. I'd LOVE it to look something like that, but with my own twist. Once the wheels are on and suspension 100% correct, I'm gonna be working out a way to make my own wheel arches. I've got some pretty cunning ideas for how to make them, but theories don't always equate to amazing results with me. I'll give it my best shot though. Having said that, I never thought a set of Suzuki SJ 4x4 springs and Escort lowering blocks would work....but they did! ;D

Thanks for all the kind comments everyone. Todays update: Got to the Area 52 and stole a few wheels off Hotwires car to try out properly for clearance, poke etc.... Decided it needed a bit more off the front - but there was no travel left! Only one thing for it; cut the bumpstop down (yep - it's currently riding on cut down bumpstops!) Here's a before & after - might not look much, but it made a massive difference to the stance overall. Approx 1/2" lower. Time to get some shots of how it looks riding 14's.....I've just got to get some of my own instead of nicking David's (should be sorted by tomorrow afternoon thanks to Mike D ) Let me know what you think? Front offside it now running a standard height strut/spring because I need the 'modified' one to use as a template to make a coilover strut in order to get some much needed travel back. That's it for now - might be another update on Friday.

i like it an awful lot, BUT sorry to be picky but i think you should some how remove the bump stops move them up and sory out some form of lower, maybe 2 more inch :-? i just think it would be better hehe There not the highest of things anyway though so hmm, maybe it just looks higher because there is nothing to compare too, i cant tell :-? maybe get a pic stood next to it or something?

I like it an awful lot, BUT sorry to be picky but I think you should some how remove the bump stops move them up and sory out some form of lower, maybe 2 more inch :-? I just think it would be better hehe I doubt it - the rear bumpstops are 1/2" from topping out, but they are currently the only thing from stopping the axle hitting the chassis! There is only about 3/4" of arch clearance MAX as it sits now, so a 2" drop would mean cutting nearly 2" out of the arches. Not gonna happen As for the fronts - the bumpstop is built into the strut and I've already removed 60% of it. The little bit of rubber shown inside the red box below is currently my spring & shock absorber rolled into one! The van is literally resting on that 1/2" thick bit of rubber. Not sure how I'm gonna lose 2" from there (let alone the arch clearance!) The ride height is pretty my set now - it'll drop another 10-15mm I reckon which should look about right for what I want. And I guess that's the most important bit? There not the highest of things anyway though so hmm, maybe it just looks higher because there is nothing to compare too, I cant tell :-? maybe get a pic stood next to it or something? I'll park my Delica next to it if you like??
