Just a few images to show the start of things to come. So far a lot of help from big perm's chop shop now for me to start detailing and tweaking.     And yes running this low did kill my first sump within 1 week. Bloody agreate trucks and rocks. |

Cheers guy's prob gona black the chrome out on the grille this weekend then do a chequred center section with red finelining.
Need to colour the scallops in the wheels as well but undecided on colour. Plus someone on here has shown me a wheel idea. ;D

if i didnt repair this....  then i wouldnt of had the guts to do this....which is why approx 6 pints of strong lager gave me the courage,curse word up masking rocks  oops!!  heres to marmite benzes!!  |

Rubbish, the pair of them. How d'you do that red striping? I can never get my edges that good... I do it by leaving long "tails" on the striping tape, don't over lap them too steeply (if that makes sense) overlap them at a shallow angle, then cut along the tape to creat the tip, this gives u nice long tips to scallops etc thats how I do them anyway *forgot to add, the car looks quality, love it alot, I'm even gonna look em up on autotrader.* |

like i said tim if id of had time i would of sourced some headlamp covers and painted them black too, probably would of also detailed the grille with some coachbolts, and polished the roofbars, but a week just wasnt long enough!!........

Cheers for keeping things updated me old permy. Take it project back door is on the way Ha HA. I owe big perms chop shop a lot for this estate, yeah you alsolearn to change sumps quickly ;D Well been playing but the strawbery cider hangover has bought me for a sit down so now a grill up date.  Stripped down and in primer!  White done masked and black done, No inbetween shot got carried away.    The finished grille. As said above it's marmitte time, you either love it or loth it. ;D ;D |
