Well, I am busy collecting bits, as I have recently discovered a site where the guys/girls build bicycles as I would love to have them. I have one large knackered frame, a BMX frame, and a kiddies bike, they all will hopefully become part of one bike. I love the Mixte style bikes, and have for years wanted to build either a "tall" bike or even better, a "swing" bike. My local skips get loads of very good bikes over weekends, but you cannot move a bloody thing from there. So I need to make do with the bits I collect from everywhere. Look at what tese guys do. Pic linked form one album. These are awesome. www.chopaderos.comOr the Swingers, like this one by qwerty500

It's easy to build a "swing bike", just ride any folding bike with the hinge undone.

Was mildly intoxicated, and managed to fall off the swinger slightly. Always wanted one of each since. Now is the time it seems. As to finding your little coven..... hmmmmmm ?

Currently driving a '68 Karmann Ghia as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

I aquired an adult size unicycle today ;D, can't ride the damn thing but with 'direct drive' to the wheel it lends itself to being canabalised into something else - a swing bike maybe?

Well, I began the cutting and fitting for the swing bike I want to build this week..... Ended up with a pile of old frames, mostly bought at £5 each from the local kids who usually want to wash my car for smoke money..... Cut headstock from one, have split the frame it has to go into, but then had to get onto other stuff, so need to make bits match up, weld, grind, weld, grind etc..... find some wheels to add, and then spray, whatever colour, and refit.... ride. Today we went to my mates place in Tilbury , Essex to meet up for a ride to the Ace, and his neighbours collect steel to sell to the merchants, on the back of the truck was a Shopper and an old ladies racer, so I bought them from the guy for £15, which may be about 4 times what they are worth as scrap, but, knowing how one cannot move anything from the council skips these days, I bit the bullet and paid my blood money. Now I can start creating a Mixte for Nicola's son, and do up the shopper as part of the Sinclair bus' equipment. Bikes as found....... All wheels knackered.
