handlebar gauge is 22.2 (where the grips/brakes are mounted), but I don't think i'd want to be putting my weight on vertically :-)
I quite fancy something like that - might try a race on it :-)

Cool! Like the 'before rust' version of mine! Any plans, other than selling the car and taking this everywhere instead? :-)

ive been watching Ebay for one but seen nothing
I was in a junk shop today and there was one at the back door. Was in good condition. It had a Stump neck type of stem. Normal diameter. So I could change the forks no problem
I asked how much....hoping for it to be a fiver. But she say its £10
Might see it next week if theyve priced it up properly.

The other places I keep looking , and finding stuff at, are Council skip (gotta be sneaky about stealing stuff there) Recycling trucks, and steel collectors, and wherever I drive past big yellow skips, where clearance is gouing on.... Found my Swinger frame in an industrial estate, parked up next to the skip..... Just keep your eyes open, also www.gumtree.com for freebies, or in the bicycle section. Like the Ickle bikes, not sure about my considerable bulk interfacing with their seats though.

these things would be good motorised
well they would hurt you quicker
the tiny wheels wouldnt need such a big reduction in gearing

Well I just bought another off ebay, off to collect it this week. Begrudge paying over £10 for it but they all seen to be going for good money now on ebay, and since the first was free it's still £5 a bike!
My mate and I are itching to race! Our wives and pointing out we might hurt ourselves!

Distant cousin to my bike arrived yesterday: Now a race is needed to see which is quicker! The new one is trickier to ride with a lower saddle and handlebars nearer so you have to cycle bow legged.

I'd love one of these...but like Grizz I have visions of going over a speed hump too fast and spending the rest of my days with a pair of ape-hangers sticking out of my tea-towel holder. ;D

Well it seems they're spreading, got a third now! Same as the first and in need of tlc. The bearings make a nice grinding noise when you steer! Tempted to either make an exact copy of the first one, or try the bigger back wheel approach. Also got a Mixte. These seem really popular as the odd two piece crossbar from headstick to rear wheel means you drastically drop the seat tube down. Missed out on one on ebay last night, scored this instead (front wheel to come!). This one's called Misty and features lovely flowers.
