Not actually modded but meh. Figured a collection is good enough. N64, Dreamcast, Saturn Gun, Gamecube. Mega Drive, Gamegear TV tuner (behind), DS, GBA SP, Saturn 3d pad, Saturn. Master System. The games so far. Minus the GC and Saturn games I can't be bothered to find. Got a spectrum somewhere too. Plus a Gamegear and NES on the way.

I love the MK1 master system. Proper 80s looking mofo. Feels cheap and nasty to match!

Built in snail game? Mine has Hang on and Safari Hunt built in. Or is the snail one a secret only Sega employees and those crazy hobos who yell at traffic know about?

You need a NES for the ultimate collection.
The NES had THE best controller ever made.......

I had a mk2 Master System, it was awesome! Had Sonic built in IIRC.
My "collection" only consists of a gamecube and a SNES

One is going back and the NES will hopefully be with me soon. love retro consloes, I think it's gotta be the SNES all the way though good compination of old skool gameplay and clear graphic's. also PS1, And I no it's really not retro but been playin Halo 1 alot reciently, and after playin COD4 so much it feel's like I'm on doom original or something! SNES is next on the list I think. I was always a Sega fan, but now I have got out of the whole fanboy way of thinking I'm going back to sample the delights I missed.

I truly love the original MS, especially the little "Sega Card" slot so you can play Hang-On and Bank Panic. I think the Snail Game was only on the Master Systems which didn't come with anything built-in, can't remember how you access it though. Basically it's a cheesy little maze game with superb music, where you guide a snail around. Not bad for a freebie! I've got a modified Mega Drive project on the go, I say on the go but I've been meaning to sort it for about a year. It's a normal UK console, double switches at the back to switch between 50/60Hz and English/Japanese and also a Scart lead. I've got a cheapo Japanese-spec console I got for about £10 lying around which I'm going to switch the top onto, to make it look like this: Also a Mega CD 1, but that's bog stock and solely for playing Snatcher.

Oh and if you have a PSP and install custom firmware on it you can install a Master System, Nes, Mega Drive etc etc emulator on it and carry around every single game ever made on a single memory stick ;D I completed Alex Kidd in Miracle world for the first ever on it last week.

Fantastic! I've got an old Megadrive and MegaCD somewhere. Would be cool to track down the 32X add-on too. Bet that's pretty rare as it was only released to fill the gap until the Saturn came out. Or what about a Panasonic 3DO?! The console equivalent of a Honda Accord I reckon... ;D I've got quite a few 8-bit and 16-bit emulators on my work PC, so I end up playing Streets of Rage 2 instead of getting on with work! ;D

You might wanna try selling the J one, I sold one for silly money on ebay, something like £60! I miss my old consoles, had pretty much one of everything except the Mk1 MS. What I loved most was they don't break, 99% can be sorted with a clean and resolder. Compare that to PS1 that die regurlarly and suffer scratched discs etc. Super Mario Kart on SNES is of course king! Last time I played it I did notice the graphics are a bit poo in places though. Goldeneye on N64 in 4 player is class as well. The Dreamcast had the best controller as well, analogue triggers are excellent.

Hehe....nice collection old chap. Want any old computers as well, seem to have a surplus here.. Depends on what they are. Just sticking to consoles at the minute. Might branch out in the future though! The mailman brought me a present today: Finally have somewhere to stick the TV tuner. Just the NES, Saturn memory card, Mickey Mouse: Castle of Illusion (Mega Drive), Starfox, Stunt Race FX and a boxed VMU to wait for now! And I think I have found my unicorn (well 2 actually): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Net_Yarozeen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzer_Dragoon_Saga
