Ive got a mega drive in my shed. I tried to connect up my Master system recently. But couldnt get a signal. Tried a few RF leads. And 2 TVs.
Ive got a PS1 and a normal Playstation. Have to turn up the volume when connected to the AV sockets on TV. Ive got a Freeveiw box and a DVD player on the rear scarts. Think they mess up the sound signal.
If your on about modding. What about the C64 joystick direct to TV game. Its got a fully functioning Commodore 64 computer in there. And you can wire PC keyboards and the 1541 commodore Disc drive to the solder pads on the PCB. Theres some websites about them.

The Scart leads for Mega Drive are a homebrew thing, you can find them on eBay for about £10-15. Well worth it, not just for the massive picture quality increase but also fantastic stereo sound!

Also a Mega CD 1, but that's bog stock and solely for playing Snatcher. I loved that game. I havent got the mega cd or the game anymore though. I bought snatcher for a tenner, goes for a fair bit more now though

Currently both copies are the same apart from the installing apparently. forget either, the best version is always the PC version, draw distances are better, theres more pedestrians and traffic and more variety of both amongst other things, plus the modding community always improve and add more stuff, multiplayer death match or races around Vice city have been much better than the original single player game was.

The advantage of consoles is you buy a PS3 now and you know it will play all the new games for at least 3 years, maybe longer. You buy a PC now it will cost more and need upgrading to last 3 years. Plus it's only recently(ish) with USB controllers etc that it's been easy to have 4 player fun on PCs.

Got myself a PS1 the other day. Bargaintastic! ] Games sorted by name: It came with wires and pads, they just aren't pictured. Then I bought an original Playstation for about £5 from a car boot sale.
