Well, as it happens..... I have been tinkering with it today and yesterday in preparation for next week when it never needs another MoT - I'm going to tax it to celebrate it costing £nil per year to keep on the road. ;D

I'm not sure I've voiced my massive love and support for this car before on the thread, but here it is for posterity. Once of the finest and most innovative machines in the custom and hot rodding scene as far as I'm concerned, and definitely one of the best looking.

I still have trouble realising how you could possibly be wanting to use a roof as a rear clip, and make it actually work. 'Vision' doesn't do it justice... Not even mentioning the talent and skills involved in the build, the best part was that as a reader, I could feel your joy and excitement over the car!

Someone started an "older but interesting thread" thread and this was in it. Superb vision. Love the various hellish co-incidences. Coolest Austin ever! Great read and belated thanks for sharing.

What happened to Conor's Capri project? That looked like another brilliant little save/build thread, can't find it now?

HUGE BUMP..... the only good thing about being on a stupidly early shift is that I finished early enough to sit all afternoon and drink coffee and read all pages from start to finish! epic vision and execution.

Read the first two pages then skipped to the last page. I had misgivings when you started cutting up the chassis near the end of page two but it has come out well and in the end a bit of fun is really what playing with cars is all about isn't it.

You skipped to the end after TWO pages? Go back at once and read the rest of it... Is it really May again? That doesn't feel like nine years ago. Hi guys, how's it going?
