I'm celebrating my new insurance policy starting in time honoured RR fashion. Today I made my car closer to the ground. Here's a before First off there was the dead coil + 1 off the rear, and the same off the front. There's also only a wisper of fuel in the tank, so with this in mind I decided that I really needed some more off of the front. to even it up with more weight in there, the rear arch is also slightly lower. With the extra half coil off of the front - I was a big girl - I should have gone for a full coil. It didn't actually take as long as the pics suggest, there was a lot of the afternoon in the garden with the wife and offspring, dinner, bath and bedtime, before I got back outside. I can come down further at both ends, but I may actually want to carry some luggage at some point, or have some suspension. It's stiffened the springs up nicely. I'll go for a propper run tomorow and try and get some nicer pics. I'll see how it goes with regard to actually taking some more off.

I was reading on an Australian Micra forum the other day that Suzuki Swift springs fit on the back and are more choppable or summet.

I've not heard that about the swift springs before Qwertina. There's a guy over on the MSC who uses Matiz rears in the front of his to good effect. Dan, is that something along the lines of, "Where are the wide slots you big girls blouse?" I'm still working on getting the 7"s on, and the 8"s need tyres buying. Which isn't going to happen for a bit. I'm not quite sure how I will explain the wheels suddenly having got wider to the missus either, but I'll cross that bridge when the time comes. Rob, Rmad, cheers gents. So here's how it sits. C+ Good work, but should try harder.

I'm guessing it was Cisco's Micra Files - I'll have a search too.

YES! I really need to get some Micras together for a photoshoot. That sounds like fun Will - If you want me I'll be up for that if it's not a gazillion miles away. The stance is perfect. I wouldn't mess with it anymore. It definately needs to come down some more - hopefully this week ;D

I tidied up the wheels a bit before Retro-Mania. I've moved the break between polished and paint out to the next natural break line. I'm not convinced that it was a great move but it does mean that I can now polish the rims more easily.
