It´s Toyota 1000 / Publica pick-up, KP36. Before he bought it, it looked like it looks now, but it had Kawasaki ZX6R engine.

When pictures of that car appeared to finnish toyota clubs website few years ago, friend of mine (Marko) interested of those fender flares. Almost immediately after asking of those flares, he realised that he bought the whole car. It was february 2006.

Those flares btw are made by the former owner. He bought it without kawa engine, because stupid finnish regulations it would have been difficult to get road legal.
After that one of our friend painted its enginebay.

Then he bought "new" engine and transmission to it. We did some research in our garage and we found Haltech engine management and SC14 supercharger from Toyota 1G-GZE engine.

After few hours of bolts, nuts and welding etc. it looked like this.

One of our very skilled friend did those pipes and intercooler + intake and exhaust manifold.
Only 2 month after he bought it without engine and tranny, it was in car show with it´s new powerplant.

Lots of work have to be done still, it needs fifth gear, LSD, new cam, headjob and mayby brakes, it still have 4* drums ;D
