old pig shed to vw workshop....   it may not look much but we've been at it for a week or so now, them bloody pig pens were robust, i'm sick of swinging a 14lb sledgehammer now. |

nice my first workshop was very similar except it used to be for chickens an was 2ft deep in guano the smell was unreal took us nearly a week to shovel it out lol

once the floor's broken up we have to lay a new one, there's an 18" fall to loose, then steel doors, electrics (inc 3 phase), paint, racking, etc, etc. some bloody hobby  |

Knowing nothing about your private life, and seeing how much effort you are putting in, I have to deduct that you own the piggery....
Can one buy this sort of property as a singular entity ?
And what sort of money would it cost ?

nope, not my property.
effort involved is deducted from future rent and
the farmer pays for materials, my mate will be working from there
kinda full time but i just do evenings and saturdays as and
when i can, quite a few peeps are helping out and they get
help with their motors and if need be somewhere to do maintenance
on a saturday away from home and we all help each other out.

Come on, crack on... I know somebody on a waiting list for the old unit Edit: If you need somebody to operate a level & staff (for the floor etc) just give me a shout (my 'setting out' skills beyond that are very rusty though). |

no smell, its been stood empty for maybe a decade, twas dark though until we knocked the BFO door through, a level would be a waste of time on this shed, there's a 4" drop side to side and 9" along its length, as it is we've gotta raise it 15" at the bottom end, i'm sick of shifting hardcore around. latest pic as we left it saturday 6.30pm....  got some concrete down, a quick lick of paint to the rendered walls and over the 50 air vents i bricked up a couple of weeks ago. just out of sight is the drum of genuine ford paint the floor will be painted with, bargain at a tenner but its gonna take some stirring. |
