I'm in love with ur bike, ive only ever had a vespa before but it sounds like they have similar 2 stroke problems.
it shouldnt cost too much to restore it, it look very complete so its a case of refurbing whats already there.

Still going, all be it not brilliantly. The rear brakes died which turned out to be because they were totally worn. Fitted new brakes and discovered the rear wheel bearings had dissolved. One bearing refused to budge from the wheel so had to fit a new rear wheel. All back together the bike then stopped and handled much better. Latest issue is the slowly disintegrating thread in the barrel that the exhaust screws into. Lack of funds and high demands means the exhaust is currently held on by exhaust putty more than anything else. Useage this year has mainly been camping. Our first time camping. I removed the top box and used throw over OXFORD panniers: Next time was to a Panthers Owners Club camping weekend in Silverdale. Old faithful carried Sophie, myself and all our luggage there and back quite happily. Again, we used the same layout for carrying luggage. Next event was camping in the Scottish boarders. This time only I went and as my dad was taking a car I didn't have any luggage. Was a fantastic ride though...even with a hangover on the way back! At the end of no-where near Gretna: This next image was taken in the same layby where we came off. As you can see the weather was no better for me this time! Our most recent camping adventure was down to Masham for an MZ Riders Club camping weekend. This time I left the top box on. I also had newer bigger throw over panniers. I put the tent between the top box and the luggage rack and one sleeping bag in the top box and one on top. Having the top box on was much more convient when out and about during the weekend. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures from this weekend. This coming weekend we're off camping near Helmsley to another Panther Owners Club event. At the end of July we're off to Northern Ireland for the Panther Owners Club Internation Rally. I'm really looking forward to that one. Then I go back to sea and the barrel will be dealt with so that I can get something more proper sorted for the exhaust. I'll leave you with this shot from the end of the VMCC Quaker Run. My MZ isn't exactly VMCC material !
