The rear wheels had been sat outside with the tyres off the bead... which meant that the beads were all rusty and flakey. Took lots and lots of handwash, some clever bouncing and a few 120psi blasts to get them to mount on the bead (tyres are stupidly skinny!), and then they wouldnt seal because of the flakey paint! So off the tyres came using my 'Adam's special' hydraulic press and screwdriver method, and I gave the insides of the wheels a bloody good going over with the P60. Then mounted the tyres back on (3 of us with screwdrivers and a bit of manipulation) and spent another 45 mins trying to get one of them to seat! Again, lots of handwash and a bit of kicking and it was on  |

Welded a washer on above the top bush on the steering column today so it doesnt want to fall off...  Also added a diagonal across the 'middle' square so it doesnt bend as much. Going to be casting me some new rear hubs soo as well  |

just read this thread all the way through. I'm doing A/S level dt at the moment but you're projects are a damn sight better than ours. Good luck, not that you need it with your great standard of work |
