I'm sure you'd like to see it finished more thna I do tho haha) Probably! Tonights exciting installment brings you fully welded & ground...  and filled & primered.  I managed to get some colour on it too - been lucky with dry weather so far but good to get it protected. It was getting dark by the time I did that though and I got peeved at the blasted spray can nozzles that decided to spray a jet rather than anything useful   Will see how it looks in the morning. |

Thanks people. Totti, I hope you'll see it at Gaydon too cos it means the Busraser crew will have made it! ;D I spent a little time yesterday fiddling and sorting a few bits and bobs out. Cleaned up the dash top  Then decided to fit the NOS Lucas light (receipt in the box from the mid 80's) to match the one the other side  Doing theat meant taking the grille out so I cleaned that up to, removing lots of old dried polish/wax. Just used WD40 on kitchen roll so nothing abrasive. I'm yet to find something to replace the broken centre badge. Might just whittle up a piece of bar into a peak.  Then sorted a decent temporary exhaust end - longer term plan is to re jig things so it comes out over the tow bar through an enlarged valance recess.  So after all that had a good ol' drive round London Towne  Met a couple of young Iranian car guys while stopped there who said how many there were back home and took loads of phone pics |

Drew, that paint might be handy, thanks! The car is a couple of different shades already..... Michiel, sadly beyond my budget  M411, yep I knew the name Paykan. There's a bunch of photos on Motorbase with several low ones. Anyhow, with big thanks to Kevfromwales (bike rack) and Pogweasel (roof bars) we're now have fully stylin' capabilities ;D  |

Thanks guys. It was a good evening Matt! Pog, those plastic sections just slip off revealing bare steel tube so it might get "oldified" with some stainless at some point. Or not. Its not like I'm going to leave it one there all the time |
