Hi all, The classiest car I've ever owned. She's pushing over 200bhp with a huge 4.5 V8 cast iron block. 3 speeds on the floor, disc brakes all round, independant suspension... ...alloy rear wishbones, electric windows all round, electric sunroof, ..cream leather interior... powersteering and a genuinely fantastic ride quality. The most exciting part of this car is under the bonnet..this car has an ECU, sequential fuel injection, a mass flow sensor, throttle position switch, air temperature and coolant temperature and an idle stabilisation controller.. in 1974!! (I thought it was a ringer at first, but no, just ahead of her time) I find it exciting anyway. Jon

Welcome! That's gorgeous! ECU? That must be D-Jetronic. They changed to mechanical K-Jetronic in 75 I think...

Cheers for the good comments, she's not that perfect up close, needs some rust repairing at the lower front and rear wings in the usual places..she has potential for a RR classic..check the pick:

If I wasn't such a purist I would have chopped those springs and fitted the nitrous kit taking up space in the garage..if you look closely at the last pic you can see the destined vehicle for that kit... ;D

Thats awsome. I love these, its a shame they are seen by some as a poor relation to the sl's. Real men drive fixed heads!
Definately crying out for some treatment though.
