the Golf is the way forward, unless you wanna runa broke-ass look 924 with rough paint, seriously slammed ride-height and steels, now that would look rad, rats-nest interior etc, you could hood ride it i guess, but if you do, sell me the crested glovebox catch if it has one?

yet another change of plan.... story is as follows..
I have MK1 Golf, Wife has Mondeo ST24 for her and kids... i try to sell Golf to fund 924 purchase.. not had much luck. Wife Blows up Mondeo Engine, now without car, Golf being swapped for a MK2 Caddy Pickup for various reasons, Mondeo has new engine on order.. 3.0! MK3 golf donated by brother arrives tomorrow for wife and kiddies....
The story concludes..
Still not my 924 i want i know, but the pickup will now be needed as my runaround for work (tis a diesel!) and also to run around collecting parts for the engine swap on the ST.. Once the ST is done, i will review it all over again!

yes do this immediatly that is, bar none, the best goddamn car on the internet I think you need you head inspected where the hell is the attraction in this? I just don't get it, it looks damn ridiculous, must look even sillier perched on a pebble with the front wheels (the wrong wheels) spinning thankk god its starting to rust badly and will be scrap in a few years... just a shame they'll be one less mk1 golf in the world thanks to shorsightedness and people so desperate to fit in with a scene.. If you ask me cars like this give the whole hobby a bad name it and it stems from lazienes, I love a sleeper as much as the next man theres everything to love about an innocuous looking car with supercar munching credentials in the handling and power departements, but stuff like this is more akin to the daft chav mobiles than a proper performance car.. Glad to hear that your buying proper coilovers festerfly istead of the more usually bodgery with angle grinders found on this forum, do it right engineering wise and don't follow the heard! Arent you the nice fellow...  There`s quite some work put into that car, narrowed front and rear, repositioning of strut towers and so on... He ran it one winter on some porsche springs, with added ground clearance, and huge wheels, and has kept evolving it after his head ever since.. Its not thrown together in a couple of nights. |

Well the golf has now gone.. off to pastures new.. in its place i now have........

He ran it one winter on some porsche springs, with added ground clearance, and huge wheels, and has kept evolving it after his head ever since.. Its not thrown together in a couple of nights.
