Lets clear up car terms: "Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence. "Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Jeepers! I was after one of those for ages as an engine donor for my MG Mongtego, you did very well to get it for that money! Looks a nice one, if you can sort out all the niggly little problems it will make you an excellent mile muncher. They don't excite me too much as a rule but as Qwery said, they're a very underrated car.

curse word, i paid 50 quid for mine! But it was the Vitesse 'sport' with 17" wheels, and a bit more power if I'm right? Was really quick, the engines are going for silly money now!

£20? That's good going with the scrap prices at the moment. I hanker after one of these, a real 'Q' car.

That is a mighty bargain for £20 quid. Do want one of these in turbo form one day. The facelift shape also looks a lot cooler than the older 8 series.

That looks split mint. Probably deserves an MOT rather than having its engined ripped out. What sort of tool would let that go for £20?
