Hoping you do the "hubcaps in the bin" mod! Whilst you source the rest of the original hubcaps, why not try the proven "black steels and trim rings" method to gain some cool? As demonstrated:  |

Cor, the memories. My Dad had one of these in metallic er, beige (well, light gold!). Was only a 1.2 but was hugely exciting because it was his first car with a five speed gearbox and a sunroof! Had an auto-reverse casette player too.
So, lob in a turbo lump and leave it looking bog standard? ;D

Top purchase. Looks in tip top condition. I once had a Renault 11 ( cant remember if it was a TXE or the like, top of the range anyway) and it was a pile of junk TBH. Horrible.
Did you have to fumigate it from the pungent smell of Pipe tobacco?
Did you find the proverbial Flat cap in the glove box?
