hi all i'm newish to this site, been looking for a year or so but not got round to posting.
i was very inpressed at the amazing mix at rr07 and am looking forward to next year.
anyway these are my rides, the escort ive had for a year and have totally rebulit it with fresh paint,new interior and rebuilt pinto. originally purchased as a daily driver it was a very good shell with mint arches, wings , sills etc .. . a genuine never been welded escort
who'd thorght it. after all the work i put in its a bit to tidy to use every day (and a bit heavy on fuel now) i decided i needed a daily driver. . good old ebay turned up my little starlet, ive owned loads of these in the past as well as kp30's (1000's) and as a daily driver it was all i was looking for.
most people in the know will say i should have gone for a 2 door but with a little one arriving any time soon it had to be a 4 door and as the rarest had to be a mk1. ive had it just over a week now and its been great, on the 30 mile round trip to work ive managed a amazing 45/50 mpg. . green in too ways
. i only had it 2 days before lowering it and once funds allow may ad some wide 13" 70's J race style rims . . for now i'm just enjoying driving it.
