it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Wow, we really are doing paralel projects then! I have a rover powered Sierra, that got stuck on teh backburner too long, coming back to it soon. Also been exploring engine choices for my MK1a MR2 thinking of sticking with 4AGE revs , Is it hard just to stick a turbo on yours?

yeah, I have already been to him for a quote! ;D not a bad price TBH. not sure about a V8, no doubt it would rule , but i'm addicted to the revs. The Mk2 I had a go in was N/A, chipped and lowered with quality kit. Very quickly got used to it, yeah it was bigger, but felt right, ven if not as light and mini like as a mk1. both would be nice ;D

Hi there, nice GE powered motor you have there the mk2 mr2s all share the same bottom end so in theory I could turbo my engine quite easily but having witnessed my older brothers attempt at turbo'ing an n/a engine it would be simpler to fit the turbo lump. I'd have to agree with that. Also remember that the bottom end of a GE has no underpiston oil squirters- or so I'm told (not ripped one apart myself yet). As for the camry V6 thats something i'd like in my celica V8 sierras must be great fun, that project has always been "on my list" but i'm so preoccupied with jtin it will probarly never happen. Oh, and reanimation- if I had an AW11 i'd stick with a 4AGE too- sooo much potential ;D

What V8 are you planning to put in the sierra? probably be a rover v8 just because i know i can get my hands on one but if a small block ford/chevy comes up at a resonable price i may be tempted by that.
