Well the woodride has gone to a better place, I say better place, it's actually gone to see out its days on a farm! So in it's place is the more practical 1981 T25 Autohomes Kamper. It's running a 2.0 aircooled engine. Always a bit wary of the aircooled wedges as they changed them to watercooled for a reason but this one runs so so sweet, I have honestly never seen a better running aircooled engine! It's done massive 96k miles and spent 3 months a year driving from Stoke to the Alps! So I guess its been looked after. Body wise it has had all the trouble spots sorted ie steps, wheel arches etc but the repairs werent very well finished but thats an easy fix. Inside it has the usual gubbins, cooker, fridge, water tank, sink etc. Got a nice big bed downstairs and a big double bed upstairs in the rigid sided pop top. came with a huge canopy attached to the side, bonus! not much to report as yet, only had it a week but we have made a start on the pretty bits pics: how it arrived after a bit of haggling with the guy having the volvo it now looks like this: notice shonky repairs! interior was due a fettling and in true Team Primer style it got one all thats on the agenda at the moment is sort out some lowering springs to make it look like this

I paid £2k for it and as they go don't think that was too bad! I wouldnt expect too much more of it, its too valuable to mess about with, a £300 volvo doesnt have that problem!

Cool!! My dad has a watercooled Autohomes Kamper. Its on the bay at the moment. Interesting fact apparently Elddis were the conversion company. Elddis are based in my home town Consett! PM PhilJ about Lowering it he does shock and spring kit for the T25 for not a great deal of money.

Nice T25!
Repect to the wife for sorting you out with a retro interior retrim. The chequer floor, leccy seats and Vans mat are awesome too. Moon eyes and white wall do it for me as well.......
........so all in all a worthy replacement for the legend that is Woodride!!!!!
