Nice T25! Repect to the wife for sorting you out with a retro interior retrim. The chequer floor, leccy seats and Vans mat are awesome too. Moon eyes and white wall do it for me as well....... ........so all in all a worthy replacement for the legend that is Woodride!!!!! ;D thanks, we like it

used to go on brickyard but tbh I can't be bothered with the slating i'd off the site owner ie 60mm is too low, the wheels are wrong etc etc. I find more of a human approach on 80-90.

Fair do's, mines dropped 60mm and they don't give me grief. I use 80-90 as well mind.

Damn I missed this ,... Looks great ,... Great turn around of projects as well.. not one to hang around ;D why take 2 years to do something that you can do in 2 weeks! admittedly all I am left with now is doing the bodywork, and there aint no glory in that! ;D

Tell me about it, mine needs the seams on the rear arches sorting and the front lip behind the bumper. Also the tailgate is going around the bottom of the glass. I'll be stripping back the problem areas in september and then rollering it with rustoleum, thinking of doing the roof black and white chequered to match the polo.

word of waring about the rustoleum, its a mare to finish, you will end up with a finish that looks like cellulite and thats pretty much as good as it gets, personally i would go for rattle cans, might work out a bit more expensive but will be alot better finish. oh and good luck with the seams, luckily mines been done already

I've heard good and bad things about rustoleum but I think I'll give it a go. My neighbour has a white T3 van panel van that he is doing at the same time so we can swap tips and advice etc. I know a couple of people who have done their minis with it and the results were stunning if you take your time and do plenty of cutting back, as I'm doing it the same colour I shouldn't have too much trouble with coverage. Also mine has had the sides resprayed before and it's very orange peely so it can't get much worse than it is at the moment.
If it looks gash then I can always strip it and go the rattle can route. I would love to have it professionally sprayed but I'm way too skint for that.

well i speak from experience when i painted the volvo woodride and i did everything i could to get a good finish, depends what finish you want though. to me i wanted a spray booth finish but was a bit dissapointed, but then again it did only cost me £30 ;D

Yeah it's the cheapness factor that does it for me. My van is hardly a minter with loads of little dings and scrapes so I'm not after a mint finish anyway. One day when I have completed the conversion to a good level and fitted a pop top I'd like to have the bodywork done properly by a pro but until then it's a case of keep her on the road and looking not too shaby.
