decided to put this one in its own thread as its gonna be a bit of a bigger project than was first planned heres how i got it were shall i start ,well i got the car knowing most of what i know now anyway. its had shall we we say a chequred past, the owner before the one i got it from built it but i'll use the word built loosely ;D it will need going through from the ground up so I made a start on it today whilst doing other bits and bobs on the van . I jacked the car up to see what was going on with the suspension as it feels a little odd to say the least and what i found was a bit of a surprize . the front springs allthough fine have had 2 sets of spring assisters fitted and the bumpstops had been replaced with front crossmember bushes which was the main reason for the front banging and crashing over the slightest of bumps even though the car sat at what looked like almost standard hight. anyway all that lot now removed proper bumpstops fitted and it now sits about an inch llower at the front and rides 100% better i also tried another set of wheels which go a bit better with look i'm going for with the car but they do look a little odd at the moment because the rear suspension still needs sorting (that has strainge extensions wellded uner the springs ;D )

We've seen this before - the Nightmares 'daily driver' scenario:
1. Buy new car for daily duties. 2. Fit new wheels, adjust suspension. 3. Correct previous owner's bodges. 4. Fit bits laying around from previous upgrades of other cars. 5. Quick paint job. 6. 'While it's in the workshop, I'm putting a new engine in' 7. '...and a supercharger' 8. Buy new car for daily duties.
Another worthy addition to the Nightmares fleet. ;D
