for this weeks instalment in our May car buying mission, we decided aginst anymore J/german stuff and made a getting a new blue oval a priority!
armed with 500 beer sheckles the mission was simple, a fun car to replace Racingclaire's subaru impreza turbo-nutter. impossible? nah!
we found this in bedworth. an ex-owners club car, leaking water like a sieve but with 12 months mot, fully serviced, new arches etc it looked like a cracking buy. looked even better when i'd adjusted all the side glass and roof to stop the leaks!
its a mk4 1.6 ghia fully equipped with a really tight 1.6 cvh on carb, 50k on the clock and a mint interior.
