Hello! Kind of a new boy, joined a few months ago but haven't posted until today. This is me TR7: Its been given a Dolly Sprint 16v engine. However, it was knackered so got a recon one, that was even worse so now trying to get another one! Hence off the road at the mo, I live in hope! Cheers!

Very nice motor, always loved these. Ever thought about dropping a slightly bigger lump in (TR8 Stylee FTW) or are you going down the origional route?

Yeah i thought about it, but I'm only 23 so insurance might be an issue. Plus spent the money on a 16v exhaust manifold, and wanted to use the bits ive got (k&n filters etc) to save some money!

I've always had a soft spot for the TR7. Are you still running the 4-speed box in it??

I love those wheels! My dad's friend has just fitted a set to his TR7 with 175/50s (i think) and they looks the absolute nuts. Best picture I have.

looks good! (although styling was never the big issue with the TR7 as far as I know...)

Thanks to everyone for the compliments! Its been given a 5 speed box, which they all need in my opinion as they're very low end torquey! It was originally java green. Not too many were originally this silver, although I beleive its a genuine leyland colour. I'm thinking about painting the white bits of the wheels black- would look good with the silver rims i recon. Any opinions? Cheers, R

Love these wedges!! Yeah deffo paint the wheels black!! How about a rover 2.0 16v engine?? What gear box do these use?? If its a LT77 you "just" need a sherpa bellhousing and to figure out how the wiring works LOL. Saying that dunno how well they mount in a TR7.
I kinda have a vision of a slammed TR7 on some wide 14's with a rover T16 engine FTW!!! ;D

Best picture I have. Loving the yellow peril! Sometimes I wish mine had been left its original '70s colour.
